I was looking over some of my toys & I noticed that my misb g2 dreadwing is no longer MISB :( The lil piece of tape that was holding it has broke! :(

Talk about a bummer!!! It was the only misb g2 toy I even have MISB :(

I Know its not much & can't compare to something like an misb wheeljack but it was mine & I was happy to have it!!

damn tape!!!! @grumpy@ @grumpy@ @grumpy@ @grumpy@ @grumpy@ @cry@ @cry@ @cry@ @cry@ @cry@ @cry@

I'm still trying to understand the appeal of amassing a MISB collection - sure, I understand that they're pristine within the box, and I wouldn't mind some MISB figures myself, but an entire collection... of boxes?

Trust us, synch, it was meant to be... :D

its just a piece of tape man, still MIB, not like yo ever took it out, just a piece of tape.....carefully take it off and put a similar piece of tape on.....yes i know its special cause it was the tape that the factory put on....but what can you do?

I agree with brent, put a similar piece of tape on it. And its still MIB cause u never opened it.

Open it up and play with/display it. Problem solved. What good will a boxed toy do you if you die? You will forever have been denied the joys of enjoying it as it was meant to be then.

besides, the days of big bucks for a MIB toy are long gone

Nope,

the days of misb/mib are actually doing very well. Especially now with AFA as a major player.

I reckon he will appreciate in value quite well despite only being MIB. He's the original version of a toy that has had 3 paint jobs, and he's never been touched by human hands (well, since he was packaged).

What I am against is people who claim something is mint when it's actually been taken out, transformed a few times, displayed, then put back in the box. That aint mint, that's played with.

A guy on eBay was selling a "MIB" Fort Max once (with a very high BIN, I might add), and in the description it said "a couple of the stickers have started to peel". If it's mint, then the stickers shouldnt have even been APPLIED!
