Valor Vs Venom Cobra Eel

I have to agree. This new Eel is going to be the highlight for me as well concerning Wave 3. This figure has the best design I think since I first set eyes on the VvV Wave 1 Viper. I can easily see myself getting at least 9 of these guys to compliment my 9 1992 Eels.

A clear blue or teal might be more suitable for a diver than green.

Id like to see what their rationale for the clear plastic is. Hope its a good one like the reason they used clear red on the Inferno BATs. If there's a good purpose for it, Im all for it. Not if its simply for it's own sake.

It's there...you can see it directly underneath the breathing apparatus. By the way, all those oxygen hoses kick mass!! The more hoses on a joe, the better!!!

If I remember correctly, REAL electric eels are sort of transparent, so if this guy got his genes spliced with them, his skin would become "transparent" as well.

I I'd give good money they're filcard will mention the ability to shock like an eel, hence the shimmering/glowing transparent look: slighly cartoony prehaps, but I think its a cool idea

Real Electric Eels

CHARACTERISTICS:

Electric eels are long and slender like a snake, but they have fins to help them swim. They are black-brown to olive in color.

If hasbro does use the eels spliced with electric eels I can understand the use of the transparent yellow. I mean how many pictures have you seen a kid color with lightning bolts? All those lightning bolts are yellow. Even most cartoons that have electric sparks or lightning bolts it's usually a yellow color. Somehow yellow has become an indicator of electricity. It would make sense to have the eel blue, But these are toys for children after all. If they can identify yellow with electricity it's a homerun on hasbro's part.
