Takara Jrx / Rid Railracer

Recommended Posts

I'm intersted in getting either of these figures.

First off what is the main difference between the two beside the coloured windows?

Which is worth more, JRx or Railracer?

I live in Canada, so is $55 CDN for JRX reasonable?

What would be a reasonable price for Railracer?

Thanks a lot guys!

The Takara has the clear windows and overall looks and feels nicer. The Hasbro version has a couple of versions I believe some have painted windows others didn't even bother with that. My Rapid Run doesn't have painted windows, while the other two do. Hasbro's is probably the rarer of the two. Prices for Hasbro loose run about what Takara's are on card. I have both and really only want the one, looking for around 30-40 dollars for my Railracer.

Yes. Railracer's paint job could have been better, and a leg or head likes to pop off if you turn it in a certain way. However, it is rarer. I got mine from ebay (MISB - BUT customs RAPED him whilst being brought into Canada!! @firedevil@ ) for $40.50 US.

there is a local store by my house that has the whole set of Takara Trains, they sell for 12.99 USD (or 14.99, i think its 12.99 though) each plus tax

If you want, i can pick some up for you, but the glue on the packages have dried and they clear taped them shut. I bought two sets and they are in perfect condition.

tax over here is 8.25% (and you can pay actual shipping costs)
