Excellent read! Everything you guys praise, I thought so as well.

 

It was cool seeing Runamok and Runaround again. I'm glad to see the black one didn't die earlier, and was glad to see him die 3 pages later! Ouch!

I thought DW said they would debut 1 new G1 character...from what I saw, I saw 2: Sunstorm and Bumper. This is both of their first comic appearances...is it not?

-Someone mentioned that the bot that got fried by Runamuck was a Minispy. I thought he was too big for his size.

-The first broken tube that Rumamuck saw, was that the tube for Sunstorm? If so, would that mean other diaCLONE guys would be out soon too?

I have no clue where Runamuk and Runaround were.

 

Runamuck blasted a Minispy. He looks like one. And if you watch where falls on the ground face first, you see Runaround's foot in the upper left of the shot. They were tossing corpses!!!

 

Who knows what those tubes were...but that's the fun in reading!! Suspense!!!

Awesome issue, all around - and I personally loved seeing Bumper get in there! After all, mispackage or not, he was technically released as a TF and should therefore get his due - which he now has! I'm really looking forward to seeing how Sunstorm's agenda plays out too. My only complaint is that now I want that e-Hobby Sunstorm variant!

Perhaps since they debuted a Decepticon they decided to debut an Autobot as well. Sunstorm's power seems overboard. Perhaps he will battle Jet(Sky)fire in issue 3.

I think Sunstorm might come out on top though. From what I've seen of the preview of #4, Omega Supreme returns. It poses the question, is he enough to stopthe super powered zealot Sunstorm? Is Sunstorm really that powerful in #1?

I think he is just shown with more power than he actually has. Sure he is powerful, but I bet Omega Supreme will blast him to scrap.

As far as Omega scrapping Sunstorm, I don't see it. They've made to big a deal about him to kill him off so soon, if that's what you meant. It seems he's going to shape up to be one of those "wildcard" type characters.

 

 

Just one more question. Does it reveal whether or not Megatron built him from the scrapped seekers from #0?

The line at the end of #0 foreshadows that possibly Sunstorm was created by Megatron. There is no real proof to back this up though. Just because a new character is introduced does not mean he'll stay for long since they don't have to keep him alive. But because they are making a big deal about him they might keep him around. Omega Supreme has always been talked about as a POWERHOUSE. SO the combination of him and Skyfire could overpower the flaming Decepticon.

I picked mine up last night and I am impressed by the start With an ongoing series, I think that the plot will be developed nicely....It will be interesting to see what happens next when Sunstorm joins the fray and I am wondering which TF is going to be dug up after millions of years....Jetfire I am assuming

Finished reading it about an hour and half ago. Wow....I'm really stoked about #2!

 

 

The incentive cover (thanks for the pic, KP) leaves a bit to be desired, but will be sought after by completists (like me!). Who can forget the silver snail exclusive cover...
