look at it like this...first of all the Dinobots weren't that smart (naturaly)...then Grimlock was exposed as a power-hungry Judas in Meteorite Menace or whatever that episode is called...he knows he's really strong and he wants to take over the Autobot faction....Slag just wants to fight...he doesn't care who he's fighting as long as he's turning some Transformer into scrap...Sludge is a dumb ass....Snarl's just a quiet guy...Swoop is pretty reliable though from what I've seen of him...but overall I'd have to say that the Dinobots are the least reliable, most unpredictable Autobot team (in the G1 cartoon anyway)...give Grimlock credit for creating the Technobots....Silverbolt and those other group leaders just seemed happy to follow orders from Optimus, Rodimus, or Magnus...whadda u guys think? @hmmm@

They where the dumbest, that is no doubt, but if you could get them to do the work it was mostly done in a quick and hard way.

Dude, while the Dinobots are a little slow, I definately wouldn't consider them the weakest "team" by far. Silverbolt...yeah he listened to Optimus, but face it, the guy was a puss! The Protectabots didn't really show much muscle; and Computron...oh wait, that's right, he's a RESULT of a Dinobot!!! Just my opinion mind you... @poke2@

oh please, they might not be the smartest of the fizz but they have proven that they are smart enough to deal with any situation. They might not be the smartest, but intellect isn't always the most important thing when it comes to a good soldier...

Actually it's better to have a slightly less intelligent soldier doing a job. Someone with more brains could be a problem when faced with certain missions where no questions should be asked. I hope you get my drift.

 

So i think they are a very good team indeed.

I think its safe to say if you replace weakest with dumbest & everyone here will agree with you. Otherwise you're out o you're gord. & there only dumb in the cartoon series in the comics there actaully quite smart

i liked the fact that they were unpredictable, made everything interesting since there was really no sure thing.

They were great in Seasons 1 and 2. Saved the Autobots enough times. As for Season 3, well that's another story..... @hmmm@

Anything that uses it's name in 3rd person and the word "smash" is alot of trouble.
