Silverstreak & Hound

Well, I havn't seen anyone post thise yet so,

I think Silverstreak looks awsome with that silver color. Definatlely a different head sculpt. Hound looks to be very articulate, kinda a small gun compared to everyone else then. What do you guys think?

Did you notice that Silverstreak's hood appears to be gold and possibly parts of his leg? I've talk to others about this and they said it's probably the reflection of the light but I don't know. I've looked at the picture closely and it doesn't look like a reflection from light to me, maybe the leg does but the hood.....hmm. Unless this is Takara's version with a gold hood and Hasbro is sticking with just all silver.....who knows.

We need some better pics... it also looks like his mouth is different, possibly opened.

They both look great... my one and only complaint will be the liscense plates... I love what they did with Sideswipes, I don't understand why they aren't doing that with these.

I don't think the mouth is open, at least from what Iv'e seen from the alternators version. It's odd that both pictures released of Silverstreak are kinda hiding the face. Odd or annoying? I wanna see his frickin head! :angry:

Allso to the gold color, well it could be uhm... not sure if this is what you call it but it could be silver "tarnished"? which could give it that effect

...

when you have small stands like that at toy shows, there is lights all around, and chances are its a slightly yellow bulb reflecting off teh silver.. look at the right leg, has the gold effect, yet the left doesnt..

 

in these pics, they both look 100X better than they did in the proto shots... hounds feet dont look as small either...

there is tho proto shots of hound being transformerd, hes an all green plastic... looks kinda funky, was on link on this board somewhere

I actually feel that I like Silverstreak better than Smokescreen. I like the rally paint ap and all but I just feel like the solid silver looks much better all around. I personally can't wait for Hound though, the figure looks great especially in bot mode.

so far i am VERY VERY impressed with alternators line! and with the auto makers embrassing the designs like they are! its only goina get better! i hope sooner or later we see them in other media. say a comic or a toon! maybe a pack in cd with short toons done in CGI!

I agree, that would be quite the dream, I'm guessing after the movie they might do something like that, maybe even a little bit before to hype it.
