Was CC the only voice that stayed the same from the Sunbow to the DIC cartoon?

I believe so, but what I wanna know is where I can find some of the DIC eps. I know they suck compared to the Sunbow eps, but I wanna see 'em anyway.

now we have a robot for CC's voice...Chris Latta's voice is pricless...his harsh yet whiney voice gave CC so much of his character...

 

CC died when Latta did imo..

Chris Latta, however, most definitely was the man. His CC and Starscream were priceless.

Hey, I wasn't dissing anyone, in my opinion he was the best cartoon voice actor ever.

 

I have all the DIC episodes (in fact i have every episode) on tape, they aren't as bad as all the whiners say, but certainly the animation is not at the same level as Sunbow.

 

How old was Chris Latta when he died? And how did he die?

Cobra Commander always had a voice from a bot if you mean the robot being Starscream. The one who did the voice in the 90's was Scott McNeil. He also did the voice of Destro in the current Gi joe animation. Maybe they didn't want him to do CC since they wanted to do the SC sounds like CC trend.

Latta died in 1994 of a heart attack induced by drug overdose at age 45. Also, Latta did the voice for Cobra Commander in all of the DIC cartoons. He is credited as Christopher Collins which is his birth name. Morgan Lofting redid the Baroness' voice for season one but was replaced in season 2. Also, Ed Gilbert did General Hawk's voice in season 1 but was replaced in season 2. Jerry Houser also reprised the voice of Sci-Fi but was only seen in season 1. To my knowledge, they are the only people who reprised their characters.

I don't think that the original CC did the CC's voice for the DIC shows since if you look at the credits for DIC show and some voice dub site, Mc Neil is given credit as CC. Mc Neil's CC sounds like the sunbow one, so I guess that is why everyone thinks Latta did the voice. I checked Latta's bio and he is not given credit for CC for the Dic show.
