After the recent announcement of 2 Adventures Of Batman & Robin DVDs containing random episodes, fans of the series were a bit upset that Warner Bros still had not announced the season sets that were mentioned at the San Diego Comicon back in July. We got Batman's trusted butler Alfred to make some calls, and we found out that sets are still planned for the show. It was hinted that we should expect a box set sometime around summer.

 

So for those of you frustrated that you still hadn't heard when this show was going to be released, at least we have a timeframe now. With the first season comprising 60 of the 85, it'll be interesting to see how Warner Bros intends to release the series.

Hopefully it'll happen soon. I keep holding off on getting the individual discs because I know that someday they'll put the whole season on DVD.

I'll belive it when I have them in my DVD player. I don't trust the WB. If they are planning these, then why are they releasing the other ones in a month or so??

I rather have JL then Superman myself. And I'll probably end up buying the single disk till the box sets are released and then sell off the disk that the sets duplicate. While I really do want everything in one set, its nice to be able to pop in a disk and see a few episodes to get a fix when you want to see a series as well, especially when its not aired anymore.

a BTAS boxed set dvd would be cool. hopefully it won't be too expensive.
