Rubsigns

THE KING

Recommended Posts

It wouldn't work tho, at least so far. You'd be sitting there rubbing going "I wonder if he's autobot or decepticon..... oh, autobot. How about this one, hes gotta be a... oh, he's another autobot" :

Is that true? I never heard of that... wich ones?

Although I'm not a big fan of the bw toys. The show was great on the other hand.

All the transmetals had them, then they changed them to the spark crystals on the transmetal 2's

I personally don't want them to come back. Rubsigns go bad fast (or at least all mine did) even when you don't touch 'em... hot weather and sunlight fries the suckers. My Binal Tech and Alternators are for display... now and forever... and I want them to stay in amazing condition (all behind glass dust free)... I'd hate for the rubsign to go bad and flaw there perfectness.

Pass on the rubsigns. They were neat - the 1st time. Now I just end up removing them and placing them in more conspicuous locations. Usually underneath the cars or behind the door panels.

That is sacrilege @stoned@

They were pretty neat, but imho they get in the "way" of the figure on quite a few of the characters. (Mostly earlier ones)

Don't forget that the original 6 Japanese Spychangers sported updated versions of rubsigns. Instead of stickers, the Autobot symbol was painted onto the figure with heat-sensitive paint. It's a cool idea that I wish they'd have carried over here, but I guess heat-sensitive paint is too expensive or something.

I'm curious as to how those rubsigns hold up over time compared to the stickers...
