With The Rundown making less than $50 million domestically during its run at the box office, despite strong advertising and great reviews, Hollywood is not as high on The Rock as they were before the film released. There is now question that he even has the potential of being a top action star at the box office. All eyes will be on the results of Walking Tall, as if that bombs, his surplus of roles could be his last. Some are even suggesting that he should spend more time on WWE TV, as he may need the strong connection with wrestling fans for box office success. Originally, some Hollywood suggested he generally stay away from wrestling.

 

As for the Flair/Steamboat rumor, Ricky Steamboat addressed it on a radio show last night. He said that he's never been contacted about the match, but he'd love to do it, even with his back injury. He knows that fans would love to see the match as well, so he hopes it happens, but wouldn't necessarily count on it.
