Alternators Prowl Repaint

I finally got around to doing it

i bought some paints and hes my first custom

the paint is a little messy but hey its my first

i do like how he turned out

criticism good and bad apreciated also what else can i do to improve him

Did you find sirens for it? There should be some sort of 1/24 car with sirens that you could use.

im gonna replace the symbols on the doors when i get s sticker set made im also adding the highway patrol and other decals like the stars

Jesus, for your first custom that's hella good.

 

My first custom was bad...If I remember correctly, it was a BW Iganus painted red with Energon splashes.

Sweet! The robot mode looks great! Not to be a nitpicky or anything, but he needs a little wedge of black paint on the front of the car to be more like Prowl/Japanese police colors. Check out my earlier post for some cool reference pics of a Japanese Police WRX.

I'd love to see him in vehicle mode. Oh! and he needs a light bar! I'm sure you can easily find one to rip off a 1:24 police car or something. Just don't do it like TRU Rachet and paint it on.

I'd still like to see someone take a stab at getting shoulder-mounted missile launchers on these things, but it's doubtful that could be done w/o having to toss them loose into the back seat area in alt mode.

the missles dont need to be stashed in the back,g1's wasnt.

but there is a place for them in robot form,there is even two holes makes me wonder if they thought about it and scraped it.man, i want some f'n shoulder missles someone kit some please.

Im impressed, looks very nice.... id love to do it myself , but until alternators hit UK toys r us , im not gonna paint one i paid to import so waiting a while.... unless one of u nice guys wants to pick up smokescreen and send it to me if i pay

 

Ok a few things i would change tho.... re tool teh head, prowls head is nothing like that , extend the points, and cut away the bit under his chin heres a pic of a bt prowl i did in photoshop

 

 

 

as you can see head was completely reshaped....

 

also some sholder cannons would be nice and lets see pic in alt mode !!

 

anyways , if you do retool the head hope my pic helped for reference

and guys pay attention to the area on back of prowls head there is 2 pegs that should be for the sholder launchers

Your repaint looks sweet, now I really want Prowl. You got my vote for missle launchers too. I agree that there should be some slight remolding. But I think those points on prowls head are a little too long. Prowls repaint now seems inevitable but thanks to your repaint I can see he gonna look really sweet. @loll@
