i'm confused with something here. some places i hear that 6 binaltechs were gonna be it for the 1st wave/series.

 

then at some places i heard 8 were planned.

 

so what's the real deal?

 

if it was 6, then i guess i should stop anticipating the next BT toy, cuz RX-8 is the 6th one.

So we still have 4 more to see before the end of this year. Which is just fine by me....the more of these we get the better.

 

 

We got Smokescreen/Sideswipe in Dec/Jan, then we have Silverstreak/Hound in April/May......that's about 3 months between them. So we can expect to see Corvette/RX-8 in Aug/Sept and then two more in Nov/Dec.

There is no proto or test shot of the RX-8 in plastic that I'm aware of, and so far it's only a CG image. Given that, there's always the possibility that it won't get made, and if it does, there's the chance it might be different fom the CG image.

Sorry Slup, I'm 95% sure that the pic to which you've linked is also CGI. I highly doubt we'd be seeing a final version for a toy 8 months away, esp. w/o seeing some protos/test shots first.

I think the amount of figures that they said they would release was just a ball park figure or that was the amount they were originally committed to doing. Afterall they said they would release that amount of figures before smokescreen was even released. However i'm sure if sales are good, they will do more then just 6 or 10 if they can.

THe RX is slated for sept. 04 which makes it look like 6/8 per year.

One a month would be fine by me. That would work out well, I could afford to part with a 20 once a month and the timeing would be good, cause it'd be enough to overlap that time when Im just happy with what I got and that time when I want more.....I call that the toy Honeymoon period. LOL.
