That'd be cool and all, but from what I understand, the Universe comic actually follows the toys that are out, not the other way around

It's just Hasbro's way of offloading all their over-produced/overstocked Beast Wars and RiD toys.

 

They're nothing but repaints of those two lines (at least, every one I've seen in "Universe" packaging has been)

Yeah but from the story the OTFCC put out was Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were recruited as they were in the picture but reformatted in the new SS and SS (rid sideburn repaints). Then packaged and sold at OTFCC.

 

So dont expect to see them retail.
