First, are the ep in order cause in part 2 they have the combaticons on different disks but then the ep where SS creats them is near the end????

Second, In 5 Faces of Darkness (season 3) it was said that the Quintisons created the TF and they developed personalities. But in Key to Vector Sigma (season 2) it was Vector Sigma who gave the TFs life. Whats up with that?

Actually i believe those episodes are in correct 1985 "air" order, but the production order was different.

These episodes are actually in Broadcast order, not it's actual continuity order....

for your second question........

The Quintesons did create Cybertron and the linial ancestors of the autobots and decepticon, you see they were then programed with a simulated intelegance and then gained emotions, my theory is that a computer had to give these abilties, which was Vector Sigma.....

Yeah, I noticed the early appearance of the combaticons in season 2 pt 2 as well and chalked it up to the rest of the animation errors.

Quintessons made Vector Sigma- Vector Sigma made Transformers. The Quints didn't even need to get their hands..er tenticles dirty...

Vector sigma is almost like a god to Cybertron, like Primus....sorta... it is a living thinking computer like Prime or Megs....

Actually the Quintesons didn't make Vecto Sigma, Vector Sigma either was found by the Quintesons or Vector Sigma found its own way to get into Cybertron. Look at "Call of the Primatives" apperantly at one time or another Vector Sigma was an entity and searched its way through space.

The Quinteson definently did not build Vector Sigma, Trust me I know everything about every G1 Episode.

hmm.. right. That slipped my mind.

Plus Vector Sigma did say "Before Cybertron was, I was" in the Key to Vector Sigma episode.

eh... I tried to forget most of that episode. Don't get me wrong animation was great, but Unicron being created by that little gremlin?? @hmmm@

The Quintessons built the Autobot and Decepticon brand robots. They were no more alive than a computer or television. Somehow, Vector Sigma granted A3 (Alpha Trion) sentience, who in turn led other Autobots (and presumably Decepticons) to the chamber where he was enlightened.

Where Vector Sigma came from though is the question that was never answered. "Before Cybertron was, I was." Could VS have been the Quintesson's core mainframe - perhaps used on other factory worlds - that was eventually deemed too advanced for their needs? Was it capable or learning and absorbing, and decided to free liberate the creations that were - on the inside - just like it? Was it actually an entity that existed on the planetoid before the Quintessons arrived, and merged with the mechaforming of the planetoid? We may never know it's true origin...

I'm also a self proclaimed G1 expert. We have no actual knowledge where Vector Sigma came from. All the theories stated are good ones. However in "Call of The Primitives" we see that something that looks like the Matrix, Primacron's assistant escapes when Unicron attacked them. This would make sense as to why the Matrix was the only thing that could destroy Unicron. It had some sort of knowledge or pwoer to destroy him. I wish we could have found out more about Vector Sigma.
