This is freakin awesome! Not only are we going to get new figs like Armored Boromir, Freaky Bilbo, Isildur and a dozen others down the year, but we get reissues of super old figs that are impossible to find, especially Armored Elrond! And not only that, they're making a rotocast Fell Beast! This is the bomb! If they can get on a rotocast Balrog and Watcher in the Water to make up for not getting us any in the normal line, than no longer will anyone need suffer from an incomplete set of characters!

I am kinda worried about two things though. First of all the exclusive set with the Mouth of Sauron. I think this figure should've been packed seperately and (maybe?) shortpacked instead.

 

The other thing i am worried about is the Fell Beast. I already knew it would have to be a rotocast to be affordable, but for only $19.99 it can't be much. I hope they alter him to include some action features, hopefully some electronics as well. The price would probably increase to $29.99m but hey, if it's a better toy i'd get three for sure.

MOS being an exclusive is great. NO WAY should they shortpack it. It'll be alot easier to get in the gift pack then 1 per case.

 

The Fellbeast is a ROTOCAST figure. 28 inches long, 28 inch wing span.

Yeah but shortpacks can be found at regular prices, now you have to shell out 50 bucks for one new figure.

 

The Fell Beast is awesome, just hope the low price won't mean it will be a statue. I'd rather see it spiffed up and sold at $39.99 with electronic sounds and super articulation and a clear display stand for flying poses.

I actually saw the new repacks at Target after reading the new news. The Legolas looks real sweet. The only other new one i saw was the Haradim Archer. The rest are the same figs as the old ones just in much smaller more subtle packaging.

Is the "Isengard Orc with axe" from TTT trilogy wave 3 the same as the Orc Warrior from wave 3 of the Fellowship toys? Or is it the prototype from ROTK shown last year? Thanks.

WOW this year looks like its going to be cool for LOTR! I just wish there was more movies I am going to miss going to see them in the theaters with my family it was like a tradition that we would go see them together!
