Who Is The Most Evil Character In Joe?

I think it's a toss-up between Zartan and Major Bludd....let me tell you why...

 

Serpentor is acting on his internal breeding and urges.

 

CC is deranged, and probably at one point really did believe in his own ideals...

 

SS and Destro have both shown a sense of honor, Destro was also cursed in a way into his lifestyle...

 

Baroness has at least shown she is capable of love...

 

Mindbender got messed up, so his lack of consciense isn't his own fault.

 

Zartan and Major Blood are mercenaries who both kill for the sole purpose of personal profit. Morals and a purpose they are without, just greed.

 

I guess Headman (I don't know his role in the old comic series) could be a candidate too for selling drugs to kiddies in the ole DIC cartoon...that's pretty bad.

i have to go with firfly too. either him or scrap iron. he killed rip cords girlfriend, blew off billy's leg and an old man trying to kill the old man. sure the old dude was a arashikage ninja, but 3 people wasted with a missle. thats cold.

I'd go with Firefly or Major Bludd. Zartan at leats has some compasion in him, Zanya you know. The other two are just ruthless to the bone.

No way! For awhile there in the old Marvel series Bludd posed as Destro. That takes major grapefruits right there. Also back in the day,Zartan was one of the most ruthless s.o.b.s going.

i'd go with Firefly and/or Scrap Iron also. cold blooded doesn't even begin to describe those two. THE saw viper too, well, he's calling himself Overkill now, i guess, but yeah, he's a ruthless thug as well.

Define evil. How you define it has a large impact on who is the most evil. Destro is an arms dealer. He lives for war. He incites wars to boost sales. Thats pretty nasty. Baroness is in it for the ideology of war. She's easily the most dangerous of the Cobra heirarchy, because she's doing it for her beliefs. Major Bludds just plain nasty for the sake of being nasty. Serpentor is a victim of his own creation. He is an amalgamation of the best and most vicious leaders. So he is capable of the greatest evils, but has yet to live up to it. Is that by choice? Or ineptitude. Mindbender is all about creating evil, or at least the pursuit of immoral sciences. his experiments include human subjects - isn't that evil? Zartan is mean, but fulfilling an agenda, that includes the welfare of his family. Thats not truly evil in my book. Firefly and Scrap Iron, sure they're nasty, but I think they're just well trained. They can seperate their humanity from the job at hand, which most Spec Ops can also do. They just do it for misguided ideals. Cobra Commander is quite evil. Manipulation of thousands, ordering deaths, terrorist attacks, employing sabotuers and mercenaries, arranging for his son's death, sending thousands to war for financial gain, - his list is endless. Although he seems to be a bumbling buffoon, he heads an evil militia to fulfill his own goals and has no concern for who he has to crush to attain his goals.

 

eh. Just my two cents.

Hard one. Serpy does have the genetics of megalobmaniacs in him, but like one of you said earlier, genetics, not evil by choice.

 

I would have to say Cobra Commander. its his style that makes hima good candidate: manipulation, lies, greed, are all tools he uses in order to get other s to fall into evil. I say that the worst evil is the one that uses the vices and weaknesses of others to gain loyalty and fulfil an evil agenda. That would have to be CC.

I'ld go with Firefly. Remember when he and the others were buried in the tanker. The whole group worked at digging themselves out, which took some time, and only two survived. Firefly found some BATS in there and had them dig a way out in a week. Then he left all those others to die.

They did everything from kidnapping to money laundering, All for personal gain. Kinda like the Cobra Mafia.

very detached from morals and ethics,

true its his job...

but it takes something to shut out emotion and feeling when your job is killing people.

 

although, in issue twenty four...

commander slits the throat of a coil soldier with a piece of shrapnel that's been imbedded in his hand.

that may not put him in the running for the most evil member of cobra,

but it certainly makes him a bad ass in my opinion.
