Energon Starscream Spotlight

The mold looks great, but I don't care for the colour scheme all that much. Still going to pick him up though.

 

I was thinking with this mold, it would be great if they made generic seekers that you could army build. Since they are making other figures generic, it would fit right in.

He's been refered to as an "Energon Ghost" by Hasbro and the production team at the conventions so the battle damage is most likely representative of his ghost state...

 

I also love the light blue as harkens back to the G1 incarnation..

 

I have this guy and he rocks but I was wondering on mine, the left arm is a little less sturdy than the right. Anyone else have this problem?

BG,I noticed that too...his left arm at the left-and-right rotating joint seems a little looser and less sturdy than the right arm.I tried to fix this by tightening the screw on that arm,but it didn't help that much,the screw is as tight as can be.On mine though,it's not THAT bad...but it was something I noticed...so you're not the only one.

 

I love this figure,possibly the best out of Energon right now (until Rodimus comes out).I really would like to see Hasbro repaint this one in maybe old school G1 colors or even Armada colors...but I think we may see him as 'Thundercracker' or 'Skywarp' again.The 'baby blue' isn't bad...but it doesn't blend well with the rest of the color scheme...it's only saving grace I think is that it is 'dull-toned'.All the same,I think he's the best Energon figure out there and a terrific figure.So terrific,I got two!

I'm not a big Transfan anymore. In fact I sold all my vintage G1 except Jazz and Starcream a few years ago. I saw about 20 of this Starscream at Walmart in a bin 2 weeks ago and did a double take. I picked him up and thought he looked killer. So I bought him right there and opened him up later and he didn't dissapoint me one bit. I love the colors and the mold. First TF I have bought in 2 years that I plan on keeping. So I highly recomend him.

I got him recently too. I really like all of his color scheme and there are alot worse color schemes he could have gotten, like if he had gotten Battle Ravage's Energon color.
