Strange. We were told this would first appear as a TRU exclusive and only later be farmed out to other retailers. I could understand a baseball card shop having scalped one, but WalMart is... puzzling.

Well, I can confirm the Smokescreen re-issue being out as I saw about 6 of them at the nearest TRU on Wednesday. I would've picked one up, but I got the Japanese version from BBTS during their clearance sale earlier this year. Hopefully they'll get Grapple in soon.

 

I may wait on Prime to show up at Target or somewhere else a bit cheaper than TRU.

I think what I might end up doing is get a Takara Masterpiece Prime...it'll probably end up being my first and only Takara Transformer that I'll purchase (unless they come out with Takara Masterpiece Starscream @smilepunch@).I think I'll get the Takara version,keep him MIB or on display and then get a Hasbro version that will take the brunt of my toying around with.

Yea, but it's muy expensive. These guys must've airshipped those babies. Also had the BT-01 and BT-02, which are cool, but I'm passing on... have a very strong urge to get the MP Prime, though. That thing is freakin' heavy.

Well hey, I went to school with a Japanese girl who does really great oragami, but I think the subtle joys are lost on most americans. Cant say I care about the trailier much one way or another, dont know where I would put it.
