This looks awesome, my favorite scenes so far is when Serpentor see's Zartan, Destro in his IG Commander Gear, and FF sticking some C4 on Zartan's chest. Man I can't wait to get this and see how this arc ends and who dies @firedevil@ #US1#

Oh man I can't wait for the Cobra Commander/ Serpentor showdown. Its about time these two had a REAL fight (the one in the Sunbow doesn't count as CC was a pu.ssy and neither does the marvel run as Fred VII wasn't the commander) I think the Commander will hand Serpentor his ass(although I'm guessing he'll have no faceplate, seeing how the fight is going right now), same thing's gonna happen to the Coil, no way they are gonna survive...

 

Hmmmmm....Cobra's paratrooping BATS? Did they have backup data on the new one or is this an older model?

 

When does this come out?

Wow...simply wow. After seeing these, I say if anyone looks like they might get it, it would be Zartan. Obviously because of Firefly's C4, but also because Serpentor is gunning for him. This might be the issue that lives in infamey.

It'd be gutsy if they did, but I doubt it. I think the high commands of Joe and Cobra will survive but secondary characters like Big Boa or Jinx(please kill her) will die as if members of high command die

Well to be honest, I want some shocking things to happen, even if that includes chars i love to die. If you really love STORY and not just the fantasy of oh, the hero is perfect and everything is the same in the end, then you shouldn't care.

 

Really, this is why i can't stand fanboys lol(even though i guess i am one). Story is more than characters, it's an emotion, it's an epic, it's a message hidden in the words, it's not just a character be it Hamlet or Snake eyes.

it doesn't have to be Shakespear but it could be GOOD lol. I want stories future generations will read, i gurantee this chapter in history will be seen almost like a return to oral traditions when everything got retold and altered by auther after auther and never ended.

Don't get me wrong, if one or two major characters die it would be great. I just don't think DD has the stones to off someone major. Maybe Hawk at the most....

The popular notion going around is that Hawk will die.I hope not,but if he does...it'll make this a real story to remember in its own sense...usually a lot of the stand-out Joe tales are when characters die...I'm not saying it's a good thing (well...for some characters it is),but it reminds you of the danger and that this isn't any 'cartoon'.

 

I think Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow sit this battle out....if you remember,the last issue or two ago,SS said he needed a 'break'...which was rather odd,you'd think he'd be trying to go and save Cobra Commander right?

 

And Snake Eyes caught that grenade blast...so he's probably still in the hospital.In some ways,I'm glad...we won't have focus on these two,but then again,they did sit out the first Cobra Civil War,didn't they?

 

This issue looks to be killer,Firefly and Zartan duking it out?AWESOME!Cobra Commander vs. Serpentor!?About time!Though it looks like CC is in trouble! my only problem.....like I've said before....is that this whole Return of Serpentor arc seems too short.I think it should've been running at least 7 or 8 issues maximum...make this a real 'epic' arc.

I didnt say I wouldnt live it it were to happen. Of course life will still go on. And there are certainly worse injustices in the world. But you seriously cant ask me to be HAPPY if it were to happen or want it to.

i do not think Hawk will die because they plan on turning him into Venomous Maximous for VvV, which is a seperate storyline by Hasbro, but I don't think hasbro would be using Hawk at all if he was about to be killed off. We do know though, that it is very unlikely the Serpentor clone kiddies are gonna be shot or something, so I'm thinkin Cobra Commander is gonna woop Serpentor and Serpy will die, but one of his clone kids will be around somewhere for the future. Mindbender SHOULD die already (AGAIN), he cant really go back to Cobra now, but like Hawk, I dont think they will do that. Since Serpy wants to get Zartan, I think it would be interesting if he ended up killing Zandar, having planned to do that even though Zandar joined his side, just to spite Zartan. Otherwise, why bring Zandar back at all if he isn't gonna have a bigger role? I think Overlord will take over Coil and raise the serpy clone, but Coil will work (somewhat) with Destro or Cobra and Cobra will be the main bad guys again.

One thought I had was Falcon killing The SAW Viper (Now Overkill) for revenge. Then Mindbender will take the body and make him a cyborg to control the BATS. Then Mindbender will barter with CC using Overkill to get back into Cobra's good graces.
