Anyone remember that fake GI Joe Movie teaser image I made?Well,I clipped images from this piece of artwork I did.I have an art project where I have to make three 11x17 posters from three different influences on graphic design.One of the influences is 'Military Posters'...and that's where Cobra came in of course.I had a lot of fun doing this one and I put in many long hours working on it.You might notice some artwork from the GI Joe/Transformers comic book,as the soldiers are lined up there.The large CC in the middle is ALL freehanded though...I actually drew him up on a sheet of paper,scanned him in...found some eyes online and a lot of Photoshop work went into making him what he is now.

I've often told you how good you are in this sort of field... this is no exception. It's very well done and I'm glad to finally see the final product after hearing the raves from you constantly. It turned out wonderfully. I love the fire in the backround and how real Cobra looks in addition to the hand gripping the earth. A job well done for an overall masterpiece. Your too good at this stuff.

Yes,the fingers are probably the only part I'm not completely satisfied with.Had I the time and motivation...I would've really gone to work on fixing that up...but I figured that since he is wearing leather gloves,it's 'okay' if they look a little squiggly or whatever.

 

I've never really been that good at drawing hands either.

By the way, you really need to make sure there's a disclaimer on that previous version. Some guy popped in at Rebelscum saying it was the real thing. I tried straightening them out but you know how things get blown out of proportion.

Violentfix,I'm an art major...but I like to focus in on graphic design and computer art.I'm pretty good with Photoshop and it's a fun tool to use once you know how to work with it.

 

Nate,the image is actually in 11x17.....MUCH larger...I actually just got it printed out today.If you want a bigger version,just let me know.

 

And yes,Chrissy is the Trish to my McMahon.......or well....the Trish to my Jericho?Whatever is going on now.
