Is Jango Fett A Mandalorian

I just picked up the Durge with Speeder Bike and was reading the back of the card about Durges orgin. It says Durge was tortured by Mandalorians and that he has joined the spratisits cause he learened That the clones were based off Jango and that he was going to extract his revenge on the clones cause they were related to the Mandalorians. Now it was my under my impression that Jango and Boba werent actual Mandorians but had just stole their armor but werent actual Madalorians. Did I dream that or is this an error in Durge's orgin?

No, thats an error in Durges origin, Jango wasnt a mandalorian, he was an orphan adopted by the mercenaries.

And even Jango was dead by the time Durge awoke, so he was a bit of a loser really, even if he is the coolest guy since Boba [Jango just didnt cut it for me].
