My 2 cents:

 

Lando - Nice. I'm happy with the 97 one but this one is so much better I may get it.

 

Rappertunie - Great! I really like this. Now if we can just get Ak-rev and Umpass-stay. @bounce@

 

J' Quille* - Very Nice. A definite get.

 

Tanus Spijek* - Very Nice. He wasn't on my list of figures I wanted but I'm going to get him.

 

Holo Luke - Ick! There is just something horribly wrong with this figures coloring If that's the final product then I'll pass. #yuk@#

 

Jabba - Fine. Like I said before they could have done better but I still might get him for the pipe and bowl.

 

Jabba’s Court Denizens - Fine. I was hoping for more (an arch, Jabba's Throne, Anything) but Bubo (#1 on my Most Wanted List) looks perfect so I'm definitely getting them.

 

* - It definitely looks like I was right about J' Quille and Tanus Spijek being released like Dannl Faytonni and Achk Med-Beq and the two Dignitaries.

 

 

Plus Hasbro announced the Battle of Yavin Wave. Captain Antilles and General Dodonna like we knew and Gold Leader Pilot and TIE Fighter Pilot like the guy over at Galactic Hunter said would be coming.

 

Although I don't mind Gold Leader I hope they messed up and meant to say Red Leader since I want Garven Dreis way more than I do Jon "Dutch" Vander.

The picture we saw a month or two ago of the Jedi Luke seemed to be the same as the Holo Luke sculpt, but with a normal paint job and a cloak. Why would a hologram need a lightsaber? I'll be disappointed if Hasbro doesn't give us that figure also. Lando and the Jabba look good, though.

looks like since everything is to scale a couple of those are gonna be giants. im sure that pic of the holo luke is not the final product. stuff looks good! now lets see if it ever finds its way into my town...

'holo' Luke: even though I've seen film close-ups w/ skin tones, it just doesn't look right, needs more blue tint.

lightsaber? well, I can always use it w/ a previous version Luke. Why not pack it w/ Barserver R2 to fill some of that bubble.

Ultra Jabba: Personally, I like it; of course, I have a vintage dias. :-/

Ultra Jabba's Palace 3 pk: I have a B'Ommar Monk already, but, Bubo rocks Does Wol Cabbasshite have a suction cup or something? without a 'wall section' it seems like a waste

 

As for the Yavin wave, nice to see a couple of the 'rumored' figs are true; I hope that to hear that even more of them are

Thanks for the information. I guess they are just reusing the mold from the Jedi Luke to make the holo figure. It makes sense. Two different figures from one mold saves money.

Its just an accessory. Wouldnt be the first time a figure came with something superfluous like that. Good thing it isnt permanently attached so you can opt to leave it off. A regular style Luke using that mold seems likely.

What'd BR just say? This holo Luke is a re-use of the upcoming Jabba's Palace Luke (which will be in the Tattooine wave, confusing yes, but it's Hasbro). There have been pictures of the regular Luke on every site numerous times, even the big H's. @hmmm@

At least the hologram Luke is a logical repaint, though a more blueish tint would be better, as mentioned prviously.

Found the Jabba's Palace Wave this morning at my local Walmart. They had Jabba, B'Omar, J'Quille, Lando, Rappertuine, and Holo Luke.

Hello all,

 

I have been out of the Star Wars game for the last year until the Hoth wave came out. I was quite disappointed to find the scale of the figures to be much smaller than the POTF2 thru Saga series. Today I also found the Jabba's Palace wave and Jedi Luke looks to be the same size as the Hoth Evacuation Rebel Soldier. I was wondering if this is going to be the new size of the basic figures? The luke is taller then the Hoth trooper. I think they must of messed up with the scale with the hoth figure. He looks like a kid compared to all of the other figures. I don't mine them making Luke short since Hamil wasn't a giant and the previous luke figures were way too tall, especially the first Jedi luke from 95

It's safe to say the Hoth Soldier is waaay under-scaled. Since POTJ, I've liked Hasbro's attempts at comparative scaling; even though it's obviously not a perfect system. I believe the vintage line based their scale on Luke; it's probably the same now.
