I just saw that on monday cartoon network is going to replay FlCl on Inuyasha time slot.

FOOLY COOLY!!!! I love that series but it's only 6 eps long. FLCL should replace blue gender. I say this because I love Inuyasha anime more than anything and Blue Gender isn't very good.

I hate it that CN keeps putting on old shows. I know they say it's because it's too expensive to keep buying series, but they could at least have moved Kenshin to Adult Swim. Now FLCL will go the way of Trigun and Bebop and be on for ten years.

Trigun should be taken off AS. It gets old. At least FLCL should replace that show and Bebop should be moved to 12:30 cuz I can't be up to watch it at 1:30. BTW bigbot,how do you change your member title manually? Naraku doesn't fit 600 posts. More around 2000.

When you have the Shikon no Tama, being Naraku is nothing but trivial. It should be under profile settings and then there's an option that says member title.

Fooly Cooly is one very strange anime I've seen so far. I wouldn't recommend this anime to little kids thats for sure.

No,it's not for little kids. It is very funny though. Like the later episodes with the spoofs on Lupin the 3rd and South Park.

Well, if you like your anime to make you simultaneously laugh your head off & question the existence of a God that would allow for this kind of insanity to be created, then yup you should most definitely check it out! As has been said, it's only 6 episodes (so it'll be over by next Monday), but it's quite possibly the most bizarre 3 hours of anime (or any other form of entertainment) you'll ever come across (except for maybe Excel Saga). @firedevil@

 

I'd suggest you at least give it a chance, but keep in mind that nothing will make sense. @loll@

It's a good anime, BigBot. And it's Gainax and makes fun of all sorts of things including Gainax's habit of getting cheap with their animation near the end of a series @smilepunch@

And like you said, it's Gainax. jedicrippler, a bootleg of the domestic dvds should be made anytime now, I wouldn't be surprised if you could find it on eBay, so you could try looking for that if you don't want to spend 60 bucks on only 6 episodes. You should get the bootleg then. Complete 6 OVA series on 1 DVD (J/ES). Shouldn't cost more than $10-$15 bucks.

Fury Cury is the Japanese way of saying it. On ep.3 I think the crazy girl(it's just too short for me to get names right) made spicy "cury". I'm thinking that's how they got the name. The exact spelling I'm not sure of though. @smilepunch@

FLCL is one of the most hilarious shows I have seen. Its weird and yet I still need to watch it again to understand it. Inuyasha will be coming back-with new eps.

I have to check this show out one way or another. My new apartment will have cable, so i'll be able to catch up with you guys and your CN shows. Until then I have all me dvds to keep me occupied.

 

How is the visula quality of the show? I've heard it's very good.

 

And about the L and R thing, I have another example. During Argentosoma, occasionally you'll get a shot of the HUD of some aircraft. When the target is in site, the screen will say "ROCK ON"! Awesome, dude!
