I was looking for the version one cobra eel when I came across this on ebay.....no other than a fake undertow complete with most of his version 1 weapons except for the barracuda????? #WTF# #WTF#

The guy was selling it as a bonus free gift if you bought his clone wars anakin and yoda figures. But the guy has no clue, at least he knew it was some type of joe knock-off. He was advertising it as a cobra eel. Crazy stuff out there man.

this xtreme troop actually looks GOOD--i wonder if it has articulaition in the elbows.

This Undertow and the more crudely done Easter basket Joe knockoffs where knockoffs of a set of promotional figures packed with Colgate toothpaste. They had the same arm pose too. Smalljoes.com used to sell a set of them

 

I have to admit the colors of that are actually pretty decent. And as noted before, a nice way to get parts for diver figures

One thing you can't tell from the packaging though is that the torso and crotch are one piece (which also means No O-ring). I've seen these in person, they are made very cheaply and cost about $2 in your nieghborhood drug store.

Man I love me some bootlegs. I have some others that I sent the images to YoJoe. I got those easter basket sets last year too and the Undertow mask was actually pretty useful. My Dusty had two left arms though.

 

I wonder why more people don't like bootlegs? No, no I don't.
