@lol@ Yeah Skarapz...Spearhead is correct!

I just grabbed some of my original CG's and put them in the Chap Mei raft for the visual effect. @wink@

wow awesome man! I thought you had the 3 pack as well. They look so similar to the 3 pack ones. I would like to see a comparison pic of them!

this is classic post RAH hasbro... coming so close to giving fans what they ask for, but cutting all the corners to somehow make it still suck.

Sums up my thoughts on this set perfectly, CLAM.

And this will also serve to be another excuse Hasbro will use in the future to P!$$ all over the adult collector.

"They ask and ask and ask and ask and ask for Army Builder sets of the original Crimson Guard figures, and when we finally give it to 'em, they don't buy it?? Screw 'em!! Order more BTR waves, and cancel the next RAH reissue set!!"

The thing is, who said they wanted Joes in disguise as CGs?? Who said they wanted removable CG helmets at all? Who said it's OK to NOT have the Cobra sigil on the chest?? Who asked for different, lamer accessories?? Who asked that they need be part of a mini "story," like the convention sets??

The correct answer to all of the above questions is that no one did. While some of you make like (or make excuses for at any rate) some of the changes, fact is you never asked for them.

The tremendous clamor of fans for YEARS about the return of CGs mean just that: The return of the CGs. Nothing more, nothing less.

If it ain't broke . . . don't let Hasbro get their grimy mits on it.

Btw-- Nice lame-looking "whoever-the-hell-he-is" in the middle with the ##$%$#ed-looking painted flesh. Bang-up job.

I wish this were true for all RAH reissues... especially the RAH vehicle repaints/reissues.

Yea, we want the RAH stuff... even if it has to be in different colors [the more decent... the better]... that's good enough for me.

Time and again, it's been said that the retailers require gimmicks, but... fans have said too... time and again... that no only is it not neccessary... it's down right off putting [if such a phrase exists]. A prime example of this is the upcoming TRU AWE Striker w/Dial Tone driver [which I don't mind because it's better than my TF one]... it coulda been pretty decent if not for the mauling of SA tech.

G1 Transformers don't get hit that bad with changes [granted, the gimmick is that they inherently transform]. Those lucky bastards. @grumpy@

Anyway, it's become a waste of time to constantly post about such things... as it is something that will never change.

Onwards to Night Force 2 and the Cobra Infantry pack. God help us all if they screw up the accessories for those guys. @cussing@

Actually, I remember reading that someone/some people wanted this. The "idea" is alright with me... but the helmets in this CG 3-pack look a bit too big.

I hope a full-fledge CG army builder pack shows up soon... like sometime next year or something.
