Transformer Mention In Wash. Mutual Radio Ad

Recommended Posts

Have any of you heard the robot voiced ad for Washington Mutual's campaign against fake free checking?

There is a robotic talking guy (just a droning voice) that is saying to stick with their bank & then a Washington Mutual guy comes on and says "are you going to listen to a bank without any concern for your well-being tell you to keep their fake free checking?" Or something like that.

Then the robot voice continues & is interrupted by the W.M. guy who says "I don't think you should listen to Optimus Fakimus here. Stick with Washington <etc...etc...>"

I heard it on the radio on the way to work today and thought it was pretty funny.

There seems to be a lot of Transformer references lately.

This is true, but I think that the 80's is back instyle for the moment, I have been seeing a ton of references to 80's toys as well as 80's video games.

FYI: Check out the latest Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine. It has an artical on 80's toys in modern games and mentions the TF Armada game as well as a Turtles, GI Joe and Battlestar Galactica game.
