Help With My Phoenix Figure Custom...

Phoenix (classic green/gold with the black neck piece) is my favorite superhero. I am trying to make a custom of her, but I am somehwhat confused about what base figure to use. I want her to be in line with the Marvel Select line, so she needs to be between 6.5 and 7 ". She needs to have the superhero body akin to how Jim Lee draws his female's figures, and she needs to have the heels (no sock-boots!). The other issue is the paint. Jean's gloves, boots, and sash, are a liquid metallic gold color, and I have no clue on what paint to use. The green should also be vivd and shiny, but not metallic. The black triangle on her her neck/cleavage area should look like blue-black non- shiny leather. Does anyone that does customs have any suggestions? I was thinking that I could use a DC DIRECT STARFIRE or a DC DIRECT Phantom Lady, since the female body looks better when it has less articulation, and DC does of good job of making some female figures.
