man this guy is huge!!!! he's a good 12 inches tall, if not bigger. Same size as Jet Convoy from armada. that's big!!

No wonder the transformation is so complex :D Lots of room to work with. Looks like the front bumper in truck mode goes up in the chest. crazy! that guy's gonna be some work to transform :P

He's looking woth the 100 bucks more and more :D

@stormtrooper@ WOW!!!!!!!!!! It just keeps getting better everytime I see it. I'm such a huge Optimus Prime freak anyway. This has to be the best Transformer ever to be made. He will be well worth the money.

The auction for the prototype is already at $305.00

$305 seems a little ridiculous. Are we allowed to post links to auctions involving yet unreleased toys ?

no, were not suppose to post any pictures, or give any links of where to find pictures.

I dont think its really hurting anyone to SAY where the pics are.. like ebay. usually clues are left anyways ;) like, "wow look at how many bids!" :P

My response was just a gentle reminder in the form of a question. Adam took a more direct approach, LOL :P

Maybe they have "local" Transformer friends that they need bragging material for.

Why are you guys so hyper about keeping unreleased TF pics off here? I mean, I *know* your reasons, Hasbro's scaaaary lawyers, and whatnot, but is that really of your concern?

It's not like it's any of us are selling it.. just giving the damn links so we can see it.

I can't wait to get one of those. I'm half glad its 12". I know it'll be awesome, but he won't be in scale with anything.

I completely agre, i mean it does look awesome but so way out of scale, this will be for display only

Released ones: Yes

Unreleased ones: No. Hasbro has a way of throwing a fit when links to auctions for items that are often STOLEN are posted, since neither Hasabro nor Takara ever give away their test shots and protos.

besides, there's probably some whiny Wizard/Toyfare magazine employee reading this and saying "whaaaa we wanted to show it first!"

I don't see why anyone is complaining. The pics have been out since OTFCC.

Boy it sure would be great to SEE this Prime so I could comment on it.

But that would me having something to actually LOOK AT. And the only things I got from "Optimus Prime Prototype" on Ebay concerned Armada and G2 Primes. So theres no point in bringing it up in the first place if you arent going to tell everyone where you found it.

And even if they were stolen, BIG DEAL. Theyre just prototypes of childrens toys, not vials of Anthrax or state secrets or plans for WMD's. WE didnt steal them, so let Hasbro go after the theives themselves and not persecute those who make sure their children can be fed. Its not like seeing a toy early is going to cause the downfall of western civilization.
