Was Bluestreak ever released in blue and white?

Short story on it is that a lot of people say that they saw a Blue Bluestreak, but they probably just recalled the catalogue (like the one you have). There are several odd things about the catalogues like paint scheme (for one) being completely different than what was released.

Only in the Diaclone line, was he released in the blue color scheme.

Correct. That was his colors for the Diaclone line. My guess is that they changed there mind on the colors after they made the cataloge or someone screwed up and put the wrong version in the shot.

He was actually both blue and the regular silver version in the Diaclone line, and even by Diaclone standards is still rare as hell.

Some people claimed to have seen ones in TF boxes, but no one's still yet to provide any proof. All we can assume is that, since his name is Bluestreak, Hasbro did intend to release it at one point.
