Who is the most powerful villian in the DC universe?

I don't read a lot of dc comics but I was just wondereng who is the most powerful villian in the DC universe? And can you tell me a little bit about him or her. Thanks for your help.

I would go with Luthor, with money and power I think he could do it all.

yeah Luthor is pretty powerful money and influence wise but I'm talking hard hitters. Abad guys that could stand next to Apocalypse from X-men and Mum-ra from the Thundercats and hold his own. No offence but I think Luthor wold get killed in a second if he faced offf against those two.

Both are at the top tier in powerhouse terms in the DCU.

Have to probably go with the Anti-Monitor. He did, after all, almost destroy the DC Universe. Or Parallax who did destroy the entire GL Corps. Then again Eclipso, once upon a time, was a bad mutha. Buuuut... Prometheus did take down the Big 7. Well, there are a lot of ass kickers in the DCU villain bullpen.

id say the most powerful villian in all of DC and Marvel would be the "Brothers" from the Marvel vs. Dc series. they were gods of their own universe and they would of destoryed one world if they would not have combined them.

I would say Darkseid. Although, Vandal Savage is immortal. Luthor is powerful in the finiancial sense. Mongul is pretty strong. And who could forget Doomsday. Ra's Al Guhl has the Lazarus it, so he'll pretty much be around and in ood health for a good long while too.

The Brothers were part of that marvel vs dc thing (NON-Continuity). Therefore they won't be used again. Hence...Darkseid is pretty powerful in DC Continuity.

Here's my Top Five:

 

Neron-anyone who can pump up a bunch of fourth-string losers has got to be powerful.

 

Parallax-This guy destroyed the universe just to rebuild it the way he wanted it.

 

Extent-Whichever version you go by. At one point,took down every DC hero.

 

Eclipso-Can control just about anybody to do whatever he wants.

 

Doomsday-Yeah,he was kinda lame but he mopped the floor with Superman and Darkseid. Not small task there.
