Night of the Living Dead

Alright here is a question to get you thinking, Six Joes, Snake-Eyes, Duke, Shipwreck, Beachhead, Heavy Duty, and Stalker are two miles from HQ. they are deep within a large forest that just happens to be filled with Flesh craving Zombies. for weapons Snake-Eyes has his sword, Shipwreck has his rifle (16 Rounds of Ammo left) and a small knife. Duke has a Mechine-gun that has six hundred bullets left. Heavy Duty has nothing and Stalker has a pistol with twelve rounds. Beachhead has a large knife. now the question is. who all do you think would survive and how long would all of them survive?. sorry if this is stupid, I was just watching Night of the Living Dead again and I got to wondering.

Snake-Eyes cuts a bunch of zombies limb from limb or in half, and now he is being chased by dismembered zombies. He can easily hack them up small enough to get ride of the threat.

Shipwreck would last a while blowing their heads apart, but when they begin to swarm him he starts shooting wildly and waists his ammo. Sorry, but Shipweck is only sailing on gost ships now.

Duke starts pumping the zombies full of lead. But we all know zombies can take a lot of machine gun fire so he has some trouble. If he is smart enough to run after he takes a few down he'll be alright, but Snake-Eyes will probably have to save his ass.

Heavy Duty using his brute strengh to take out a few, but the zombies quickly cling to him and start to devour his flesh. Their moans anf grounds eerily sound like they are saying "ain't no Roadblock"

Stalker explodes a few heads with his pistol at point blank range and quickly starts smashin' skulls with his army boots. Stalker makes it out okay.

Beachhead switches into knife fight mode and takes out a few zombies. Then he starts beating down zombies with his bare hands. Within minutes he's beaten them all into submission and starts makeing them do push-up. He continues to yell at them, lowing their self esteam. He finally makes them loose their will to live (re-live?) by telling them he's seen nicer push-ups in 9th grade girl gym classes.

RECAP - Shipwreck, Duke, and Heavy Duty bite the dust, unless they get some assistance from their teammates.

Two miles from HQ??

Every Joe would survive.

Zombie cannot run fast.

Joes can--they have to do a mile in about 10 minutes as part of their daily exercise regimen, ALL Ranger/SEAL qualified Joes have to be able to maintain this or they wash out.

They'd run right past any Zombies, and be back at base in less that 20 minutes.

9 minutes if Roadblock is cooking his creole stew that night.

Well,

First thing the Joes should do is throw Heavy Duty into the pack of zombies and while they're distracted eating his brain and other organs, run the other way. Snake-Eye and Beachhead can hack at those pesky zombie from the sides. Duke and Stalker take point, with Shipwreck taking the rear--- just in case the zombies need a desert.

:)-

Oh I forgot...

Everybody survives with exception Shipwreck and Heavy Duty. The zombies get food poisoning after eating Shipwreck.

But of course if the zombies have a "Crow" aiding them, then all of the Joes would die.

exactly my thought

Joes would last quite awhile against any set of mere zombies, now if you bring in demons or something impervious to bullets.

And yes crows are insane in the resident evil.

I don't think any of them would die (mainly because of the whole two mile thing) but maybe when they finally get back to the base with a few of those flesh eaters following them Lifeline would die. He'd try and help all of the Zombies without trying to keep them from making him a snack. I hate Lifeline.

Interesting concept but I'd I think I'd only really be intrigued if COBRA was involved. A good story idea incorporating the whole "Night of the Living Dead" movie series was if the dead were returning to life and G.I. Joe and COBRA teamed up to fight the legions of the undead.

Perhaps the four Joes trying to make it back to their base are unexpectadly saved by Destro and Zartan and a squad of Vipers, at which point the scenario becomes a zombie shooting gallery. :D

If you fancy seeing something along these lines you should rent or buy 'Versus'.

A Japanese Zombie flick where everyone that dies in this forest becomes a Zombie (most with guns)!

The lead character is an agile type of guy who is an expert with guns and swords etc - who is fighting both the Zombies and the Yakuza!!

This is on par with "Battle Royale".......both movies are a MUST see!!

Ten minutes?! Hopefully they can run a mile faster than that...? @*-
