Cool collection there man!

Ah...I've thought about going back and collecting alot of the vintage stuff. But lately I'm kinda hesitant 'cause Hasbro's digging up alot of old molds, and the re-issued stuff in most cases is turning out better-looking than the original stuff. Like the new HQ for example; it's has a much better paint job than the original. And heck; think of all the figure and vehicle molds they've probably acquired from Funskool India! I'm assuming that's where some of the molds for the upcoming Night Force figures came from. Wow. Think of all the figure molds Funskool had! That's something to get excited about...

But as far as the vintage stuff goes, I only want MOC or MISB stuff, even though I'd end up opening everything. (Sorry Outsiders! ) But geeze, that stuff is just SO dang expensive, and I just can't afford to do it really. I sold all of my old collection, mainly 'cause some of it didn't fit my definition of mint, and the rest was just in medium to poor shape. I have started a small collection of carded foreign Joes that I've opened (Two so far   but more are on the way.) 'cause it's a fairly easier way to get MOC figures for less money. But I'm only interested in those foreign figures that are identical or nearly identical to the U.S. versions. So far I have a Chinese Dial-tone and a Japanese version 2 Snake-Eyes. One of these days I hope to have a room in my house that I can display my stuff in. Right now I'm in a tiny apartment, so theres no room to show anything off in; everything is boxed away in the closet. Maybe I'll post some pics of my fledgling collection, what little I have.

I just like keeping carded figures on card cause I figure if I get a figure from 1982 and it's now 2003... That carded figures has lasted 21 years being carded so why open it now? :-?

I hope you bought insurance for those puppies. @-@

Anyway, that is one BAD@SS site!!! That site kicks some serious tail!!! It got me all nostalgic. @sunglasses@ Wave 1 and 3 are still the best waves ever released in Joe figure history. @candle@

Thanks for the link and Good Luck!!

Okay, yeah yeah yeah(s) your collection is really great, blah blah blah. But what I really want to know is - What the hell do you do for a living?! Anything short of US Mint "money inspector" is going to surprise me. I have a hard enough time buying the stuff that's in the stores!
