How much do you spend a month on comics?

not including Graphic Novels, I spend about 70.00 or so. Today I just spent 46.00, but that's partly because I hadn't gotten to the store in 3 weeks. I'm starting to think that I spend too much there as my spending seems to be increasing every month. Oh well, there's just lots of good things coming out.

So, how 'bout you guys?

Today I bought:

Star Wars: Empire #9

Star Wars: Republic #55

GI Joe vs the Transformers #1 of 6

Blood and Water #5 of 5

Captain America #15

Fallen Angel #1

Lobo Unbound #2

Empire #0

Buffy TVS #58 (and 57, 56)

Human Defense Corps #3

GI Joe Frontline #8

Kore #3

Magdalena #1

Y: The Last Man #13

Not nearly as much as I used to. I'm pretty fussy about what titles I read.

For monthly books, probably not more than $15 to $20 a month. MAYBE $25 if it's a good month.

(And that's considering the higher Canadian prices too.)

TPBs, on the other hand I do spend a considerable amount on.

TPBs are my format of choice, but those aren't "monthly" really, so what I actually spend on them varies month to month.

Cheers.

I've been spending around 45 -60 a week. Mainly all those Marvel books coming out twice a month plus all the new Marvels (about 3 at least every month) those really add up.

ouch, dude. that's 180 to 240 clams a month! that's a car payment! I thought I was bad for approaching 100.00/month.

I'll use this evidence to convince my wife that I don't spend too much.

what's shipping like? Do they all come at the end of the month, or set times in a month, or once there are a certain number of issues to send out?

I stopped buying weekly comics over a year ago in favor of only buying trades and I've never looked back.  I buy about 5 trades per month.
