Is that the same statue that was in the Toyfare? This one looks battle damaged where as the one in Toyfair did not????? Or is the ANOTHER LINE of statues?

 

I originally hear they were coming out quarterly, now 4-6 weeks. $150 is alot of money to spend on a staue every month.

That is really sweet. I'm not a fan of statues...too paranoid about breaking it. BUT I may get this one, the Megatron one and a Soundwave one.

No, they are not.

 

The Palisades license does not currently cover the G.I. Joe crossover stuff. (or the War Within, as that always seems to be the next question) That's not to say that it won't ever...it's just not covered right now. If the initial statues sell well enough, there's definately interest in expanding into...other areas of the license, as well as possibly doing some busts. Currently, they're just doing the statues.

 

I told you guys it looks better when they're not showing it at that god-awful angle.

If the Soundwave one looks as good as that one, I might have to drop $150 on it. Now I am glad I held out on getting that bust.

It is indeed! What you see isn't quite the final product though. The base will change from black to a metallic silver with the red highlights (purple for Decepticon), and they're playing with the windshields in the chest still. If they can pull it off, they may even be clear...and we all know what Prime's got in his chest.
