anyone collect tigersharks? (thundercat related hehe)

All I remember is that the TRUs only had a few of the Hero and endless rows of the villain. The openning sequence for that show was AWESOME!! Too bad they never did a crossover between the Silverhawks and Thundercats. That would have been RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME!!! The good ol Sea, Air and Land Combo.

I only have MAKO in that one! I would love to get the full set and have my own cross overs with my TCats figs, but for now, only MAKO can join Lion-O in an adventure!

 

I sure hope Lion-O don't get hungry during the trip though, or otherwise -Bye bye MAKO! @joker@

I remeber that show when it was on it rocked, to bad i never got any of the figures cos they looked cool and they could transform which was an added insentive.

I wish Tigersharks get a comeback as well an underrated show. Damn hard to find the figs though. Dammit the worst part was i had every single figure that LJN actually released. @grumpy@ Stupid teenage years. @screamer@ Never realized how much I would miss them. doh!

The trio of Land, Sea, and Air was the best cartoons EVER. I loved the Tigersharks, even though I remember them the least out of the trio. Why hasn't someone written a crossover between them? I wonder what the status is on the toys...

I have the little yellow 'dog' its hard to tell from the pic what his name is. Gup?? And i have the orange chestplate from the Doc guy he came with.

Yeah, Gup. I have him somewhere...He's the only one I have...I don't really remember ever having many of them. I remember having all of the Silverhawks, but they always broke. I also had all the Thundercats, which I still have. I don't remember much of Tigersharks, though. I really can only remember their transformations.

But remember we are up against big business sometimes there brains operate slower. Must have taken Art Asylum years to get Marvel. I know they had a bid in for a property that we are after for 4 years.

 

So we will see concept drawings were sent out for T-Cats still awaiting word of ownership of Tigersharks and Silverhawks.

 

And yes the ###### will be full of cool suprises on the Lion-O we gave him his clawed glove and his sword in it for the mock up drawing.

 

Accessories Accessories Accessories Thats what makes a figure. That and cool designs we might not have any big licenses yet but the Custom versions ###### come with a cool base and 5 accessories that can be snapped onto the ball joints or held in the hands.

I'm not purposefully trying to throw this thread off topic but I really liked what you just said ST.

 

About accesories snapping into joints and stuff. Thats a great Idea for Lion-o's glove. one hand with, one sans. Cool acc. are a Must!!

 

btw. my silverhawks always broke too. Those must have been the most poorly crafted toys of the 80's. I still have a blue bird from the line though.

I love Tigersharks. I have an entire loose complete collection and i only need a MOC Lorca for that set. To be honest with you though, i buy any Tigersharks i come across whether i need them or not.

They were cool figures but even hard to find when i was a kid. I dont have a complete set, but i have most of them. They are kind of expensive, maybe one day I will go back and try to fill the gaps.
