It is being rumored that former WCW star Shannon "Daffney" Ward has been offered a WWE developmental deal or will be offered one soon. This is only a rumor at this point. For what it is worth, Daffney was present at the NWA:TNA show last night and has made appearances at the company's recent shows.

Strangely enough, WWE are hoping that NWA:TNA are a success in the long run. The general consensus is that if another company is successful, it will provide competition for WWE and perhaps stir the juices of the creative team, as well as offering an alternative place for wrestlers to work.
