WHY would you GLUE Full Tilt on Trypticon?

I have a full tilt with a Trypticon post broken off in it (don't worry...not from MY Trypticon!). I drilled out the center and ran it under hot water and have discovered...

the thing is GLUED in there! Gee....I wonder why it broke off???

Sucks. Minus the rounded purple "rear window" sticker for him...I have all the stickers on a Trypticon sticker sheet just WAITING for him. :)

Yeah. Hot water really helps with plastic a lot.

If you have a peg stuck in something (gun, PMOP Trailer connector,....FULL TILT) that has broken off, try the hot water first. Put it under REAL hot water. Optimally, you would want to unscrew the "section" you are working with to help keep stickers intact.

See if that helps. Use a drill with a very small bit on a low speed setting I recommend battery powered (or dual powered) with variable speed depending on trigger squeeze. You need to make a small hole in the center of the thing without shooting a hold straight through the other side or torquing (sp?) up the plastic so much it looks like a cracked windmill.

Once you get the hole in there, use something for leverage (like a small screwdriver from a eye glass repair kit) and try to twist it out of there. Running it under the hot water will help loosen everything up. Pull it away and give that twist.
