Just Got My First Armada Toys!

Just got back from Walmart today and picked up Thundercracker, Blurr and Sideways, my very first Armada toys ever! I really have had no interest in the line for the longest time, but I fell in love with these toys. I still wanna get Unicron, Starscream, Skywarp, Sideswipe and maybe the repaint HotShot but after those I think thats about it for Armada. These toys are a little better quality than I thought they'd be, so overall I'm pretty happy. Just goes to show what can happen when you decide to take a chance on something even if you didn't like it at all at first!

Also shows you shouldn't give up on TFs just because you think they don't look cool. Congrats on your purchaces. I love Armada, and you'll see that some of the toys are GREAT.

If you can find a Megatron on clearance, pick it up. His robot mode is very cool.

I was about to say the same thing..I was worried that I wouldn't like it but after I opened the box and played with it a bit it I was surprised by how much I liked it..you should also pick up supercon Prime, he rocks! :lol:

I have Galvatron, andthe mold is indeed cool. I like the colors as well. Including the painted on blast marks.

 

Jetfire is great too. Id live to get the Japanese one and the Powerlinx. I dig the toy that much

 

And Supercon Optimus is NOT to be missed.

Im hoping Nemesis Prime is Supercon Optimus painted like Scourge. Probably setting myself for a letdown but oh well. Ill still probably get it since Im a fan of the mold

Everyone is right, if you have to buy just one Armada figure it has to be Skyfire... I mean Jetfire. He is one of the best looking Transformers toys I have ever owned. Also Megatron/Galvatron also rock. I would pick up Galvatron however I can't see paying that kinda of mony for the smae mold. I'm waiting for clearence.

I do kinda like the galvatron/Megatron mold, but I can't see paying $30.00 for it no way. I think I'll wait till it goes on clearance which I'm sure it will since there are tons of them everywhere I go. Also is the Supercon Prime the one that comes carded with just the cab and retails for $10.00? If it is then thats the one I saw at Walmart yesterday. Only had one left too.

I almost broke down and bought Megatron with Xmas money last year, but I just didnt like the bright orange parts. Im glad I held out until Galvy. Actally my girlfriend bought me it when I was down. So there's a little more of an emotional investment I have to admit.

 

Anyone want the first Armada Prime? Its loose and missing the Minicon but Im open to deals. And its in otherwise perfect working order

Well with me its that I just dont have the space really. Thats why I was offering it for half what you normally pay or trade for Overload, A couple Supercon/Deluxe sized toys or some Myclones or Takara PVCs if youre going to Botcon. I really need the 2nd wave of Myclones and Megs from the first wave.
