first off, batman

***sculpt*** well four horsemen sculpts cant be any closer to perfect. great sculpt, however I have to consider that the cloth cape nearly ruins the figure, dam that cape, because of it, the sculpt get 8/10 and im being gwnereouse

***PAINT*** crap, what else can I say, dam mattel. glossy finish, just crap

3/10

***ARTICULATION*** I like the way this is articulated. no pointless joints like on ML figures most people seem to love

8,6/10

***ACCESSORIES*** well it has a zipline apperatus which is retarted, but o well, the handle of the zipline doubles as a great batarang

6/10

***OVERALL***, well now that my figure is fixed up with a dull coat applied to it, id give mine a 9/10, but thats only mine. I was underwhelmed with this figure and cant wait for a DCD one

6.8/10

JOKER

***SCULPT*** well as anyone can see from looking at the proto pics, this sculpt is absolutly flawless

10/10

***PAINT*** perhaps the worst paint job on a figure ive picked up this year. mattel boched the horsemens exellant sculpt with crap they call a apint job, but once again, a dull coat maes all the differance

2/10

***ARITICULATION*** meh, nothing special, figure articulated good,no stupid pointless joints and thats how I like it

7/10

***ACESSORIES*** well, the stick is OK, the gun is worse than any mcdonalds toy ive ever seen

5/10

***OVERALL*** wit dull paint on mine, it makes the figure 10 times better. the one you all have, not the greatest

5.8/10

ill do a robin later

The only thing glossy paint on my Batman is his bat emblem. Other then that the black is flat and the gray is just gray plastic. And his utility belt isn't a glossy yellow either. But as for the gray areas it's just like any of the gray costumed Hasbro Batman figures or even the DCD SA Batman. It's got a little shines in direct light.

Yeah thats because the plastic these companies use is cheap. The solid softerplastic DCD uses dosn't have that ugly gloss to it. If you look at superman his blue is just the molded plastic color, bit it looks so much better becuase it's not a glossy plastic. Even toy biz has smartened up about this in most cases. No doubt Mattel is the worst toy company aside from companies like Jakks pacific. We applied flat finish coat to batman, Joker and Robin and you would be absoutly amazed the difference it makes. they look literally 10 times better,

I also got rid of the brown highlights in robin's hair and glued the folds of his cape down on the sides to eliminate the stupid big flat look ofthe cape.

I want to do a slight wash over joker's face and experiment with subtle tones on batma's lips nd face.

It's such a shame i have to retool figures like this, it should all be done for you, too bad Mattel is still in the dark ages of action figure production.

here is a robin review

***SCULPT*** well, its not the greatest. this was sculpted by mattel and not by the horsemen. its pretty good for a mattell sculpt I gues, but definatly worse than the sculpts of batman and joker

6.5/10

***PAINT*** well the same as the others. crappy plastic makes the finish shiny and crappy

3.8/10

***ARTICULATION*** once again, simple, not too much, not too little. I kind of like the way this figure is articulated, nothing special, but not bad at all

7.3/10

***ACESSORIES*** well, the battle board robin comes coplete with battle board @*- whatever, some goofy mattel crap

4.5/10

***oVERALL*** well a dull caot makes the figure alot better, and if you dont do it, the figure will still be the best robin ever made, but not a very good figure

5.9/10
