Smeagol cometh...

Looks neat. Hope I'll be able to find it, since Gollums languish on the local shelves.

I'm sure you will. All they have to do is rip the face off of Gollum and glue Smeagol's in place. But then again, they might look at all the Gollum's collecting dust and go, 'Well, we'll remedy that by lowering the case number . . .'

I read that it was taking the place of Sam in Mordor, which is only one per case. At first, I thought this was teh stupidest case assortment ever. It was 8x Gollum, 2x Legolas, 1x each for Theoden and Sam. But then I noticed all teh Legolas and most of teh Gollums disappeared, leaving behind Theoden and Sam. But if they're only going to pack Smeagol one per case while Gollum stays at eight, I doubt it's going to be easy.

I put out this new case at work yesterday and indeed the smeagol is pretty cool. The Sam is inded gone and if I remember correctly the case assortment is now 2x Legolas, 2x Theoden, 4x smeagol and 4x gollum.

So they take away a shortpacked figure (Sam) and add even more pegwarmers to the case? Man, Gollum's are everywhere here and we don't get #$## in this country! They should've just added 2 more Sam's so there were 3 per case and replace the 4 Gollum's with 3 Sméagol's.

I was able to pick up a Smeagol, Sauron, Helm's Deep 5 packs and a few other figures at TRU the other day. Keep your eyes out for new stuff at TRU. That is the place to go. Mike

There is a Gollum figure coming in the ROTK line that's articulated like a real action figure. None of this bendy nonsense.

 

I haven't found Smeagol yet, and ROTK figures have appeared on the west coast. Great. :roll:
