Here is a look at the upcoming G.I.Joe mini-resin bust from Palisades Toys of the exlcusive Stealth Firefly shown at this weekends "Defender Of Freedom Convention". It will be available in the fall through the G.I.Joe Fan Club.

 

Though reluctant to ask, do I have to renew? :-?

Man, I was stopped in my spot for like 5 mins. when I first saw that picture at the palisades booth. I can't wait. unfortunatly I think I'm going to go broke on the mini-busts.

I thought the G.I.Joe Club was the one sponsored by Hasbro. This one convention and all that good stuff was sponsored by the G.I.Joe Collector's Club! Two different names, yo!

That "Reserve" figure was a terrible incentive. Repaints and frankensteins areall well and good, but this one didnt make any sense. Armored torso and unprotected legs? *BS*

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of it. Or if I have, I don't remember it. The way you describe it, it makes me think of the Steel Brigade figure from back in the day...

At least with the Steel Brigade there wasnt any exposed skin, so ANY boy could pretend it was him inside the suit. Which was the entire point of the figure. If you were any other skin color than anglo, doing the same with the reservist wasnt going to happen. (Which I gathered was supposed to be his point as well.

man, I like the Steel Brigade figure.. I filled out the order form and stuff, but I never got him back in the mail :cry: .. I named my character Whiplash.. but hey, I was only like 7 :lol:
