No Yellow Missles On Cobra Mountain

Did you all notice the missles on the Cobra Mountain seem to have been changed to a more relistic color than the yello we saw in the orginal pics?

I think this thing has real potential.

After seeing these New pictures, Its looks Like a very very cool playset i know i want it more then i did before - , i saw some stuff that i didn't see on it before like that cage and the computer where Dr. Minbender is at.

The new pics do make it look better, but I'm still not 100% sold on it. I suppose I'll wait for the release along with some reviews.

Well, for once, I'm still not sold on it.

 

Adding some figures is bound to make anything look busier, and usually more attractive.

Its not working for me here though.

 

Its going to have to have a very digestible price-point for me to bite this one.

Okay, upon observation of these latest pics of it, I can honestly say, it does look a LITTLE better, but like everyone else is stating, I'm STILL not sold on it...completely! 8)

 

It's still a highly discombobulated mix & mesh of cool looking parts & pieces, thrown together with some vey UNcool..parts & pieces! HUH?

 

I'll step back away from my initial negative critique on this thing though, and let myself realize that I'm judging this rather harshly because it's a HASBRO made playset for the Joes, and if it was something I stumbled upon at Big Lots, that was made by Chap Mei (or something) then I would have probably jumped out of my skin, thinking.."WOOOoooo...that's pretty COOL!"

 

Of course it would likely be HALF the price that Hasbros wanting for theirs also, but nevertheless, I think I'm expecting TOO much out of Hasbro on some of this stuff, and being a little biased in demanding perfection out of them, but yet I'm buying up all this other cheap crap, just to accessorize my Joe stuff with it.

 

Looking at it like that, and letting myself see some of the potential in it as a playset to be PLAYED with....I could probably see some of the fun this playset could offer, if given a chance.

 

I may end up with one yet, just to fart around with it, test it out, make sure it's safe for the kids to play with, and that all the parts work properly on it, you know....adult supervison type stuff? 8) :wink:

I'm still not buying. The color of the missles was never the problem. The set itself, however, is still a partially reused, completely unusable base.

 

Unless of course you want a marginally defended mountain garage.

Just imagine the options with this thing all the sites with printable stuff like doors and I know most of us have customizing abilities this is definatley something I am going to be picking up.

 

At first I thought it looked pretty dumb but seeing it with the battles going on in it makes it look much more appealing. I can just visualize good ol' Firefly running and climbing round the Islands perimeter placing C-4 here and there.

I'm gonna buy it too. I doubt they will ever come out with another Terrordrome and it looks good and from the pics there looks like a lot of features

Well I still have faith in Hasbro and will be buying this set. I enjoyed Star Brigade, and Ninja Force. Hell I even liked the Eco Warriors. Really it was one of my favorite sub sets. Im not joking. Why is everyone looking at me liek that?

Eye-gougingly bad colors notwithstanding, Star Brigade, Eco-Warriors and NF DID have some very exemplary sculpts.
