I can't read to read both DW and DD's versions They sound like they have a great premise Man - so many series to read this summer:

 

1. Transformers Gen. 1 Vol. 2

2. Transformers MTMTE

3. GI Joe vs. Transformers by DD

4. GI Joe vs. Transformers by DW

 

All look very promising indeed

The Dreamwave version will take place in the World War 2 Era

So will the DD one be called G.I. Joe vs Transformers and the DW one will be Transformers vs G.I. Joe?

I think I remember reading somewhere that the next Transformer line will NOT be based on GI joe, and vice versa.

Maybe a TF series with humans in transforming exo-suits could be cool. Almost headmasterish. Plus it carries on from the idea of integration that they tried to do with armada. And now I think about it, soldiers would be better than annoying pokemon-esque kids.

 

But I cant get over the fact that I really really hate GI Joe. I always think of it as being solely aimed at kids. Having a shelf of little plastic men would look really gay, whereas Transformers will always look cool
