GIJoe DVD w/Snake Eyes

According to the Rhino website it's due to be released tomorrow. I emailed them last week to find out where it will be available, because I thought it was going to be an exclusive item, but so far no reply. Does anybody have more details? I really want to get this set, preferrably at a B&M.

Excellent. I was about to post a topic asking when this was coming out, but im glad i decided to check the forum first!

I was really hoping it would be released tommorw.

So amazon has free shipping? If it still does tommorow i may order it from them instead of buying it at walmart==that is, if WM keeps the jacked up price on it. I hate my walmart when it comes to new movies, because any movie that is 19.95 at mine will be about 14 or 15 bucks at a walmart in another city in Tennessee. They say its due to competition, which i understand, but im like: in those cities, who is going to compete with them???

manohmanohmanohman....i really hope theres a blue one too, like they give us a selection--thats the whole reason i went ahead and ordered a 2nd snake eyes/scarlett pack from toyfare---so i would have an opened black version, then i would have an opened blue version with the dvd...

ah well, the main thing is that the dvd is good!

Damn, I didn't realize it was 40 bills out in the public. Oh well, I am still getting one.

I thought these DVDs were going to have extras like commercials and stuff with the interviews.

Damn. if it is that much i will either get it from amazon.com or wait to buy it in South Carolina this weekend where the tax is not inhumane like it is in Tennesee.

That would be sweet if it did include old ads and such. I doubt it will tho.

Suncoast has them in stock for $39.99.

Now the dilemma begins. I've got one on hold at Suncoast and it does have the action figure, so do I spend the extra $10 and get it right away or do I gamble that Amazon does have the right product and wait to get it next week due to shipping times?

I don't know dude, I checked at walmart this morning and they only had the first version. I'm thinking maybe amazon is the only place it'd be cheap enough. (I figured if walmart had it for like only 5.00 or more higher price tag that i'd go for it just to be sure that I got the one with the figure).

However, I've got to hope that amazon would only send out the right product, but if they didn't I've had no problems with returns to them in the past.

I dunno... I think i'm going to have to order from amazon.

That's why I went with Amazon

The Wal marts in Massachusetts have the 1st version for $32.99

Amazon is asking $29.99 for the version with the figure.

And as far as waiting goes I've waited this long for it and couple more days won't kill me

I checked Best Buy, Circuit City, and Suncoast on my lunch hour, and no luck! Nobody even knows what it is. Best Buy only had one SKU in their system. It's very frustrating! I'll try a couple other places tonight, but if I can't find it, I'm Amazon Bound.

After a long and grueling search, I finally found the DVD set. It has a place in the package to display the Sanke Eyes figure (original mold) and he comes with all his accessories, even Timber! The Interviews with Marv Wolfman and Ron Friedman are very informative and entertaining. Ron kept calling Destro "Dr. Destro," which is weird. The best part is the booklet with "A Brief History of G.I. Joe that covers 1964 through JvC! Overall, it seems like an awesome set and well worth the money.
