I agree that this is totally insane, but in a way, I almost have to give it to him for creativity. Obviously he knows he's ful of $#!t, but look at what's he's getting from some dumb@$$ who's willing to pay it.

 

A couple years ago I actually saw a blank 60 minute audio cassette go for over $60. This guy wrote up a hilarious story about how he had bought the tape to tape a concert off TV and then the TV broke, so now he just had this tape that anyone could use to "tape their favorite band on TV or even the sound of their own voice". I say if you can find someone dumb enough to buy the hype, have at it.

I thought you all meant he had taken a CST set and painted them blue and tried to sell them as a rarity. The actual auction is almost as bad. What a scalper. You all know what my remedy is for greasy, puke-slurping, I'll-never-have-a-life-because-I'm-under-the-delusion-that-I'll-be-able-to-retire-on-the-cash-I-make-on-rare-toys-that-nobody-can-find-for-a-reasonable-price-because-I-have-no-life-and-no-real-job-due-to-the-fact-that-I'm-thirty-eight-years-old-and-I-live-in-my-mom's-basement-and-I-lurk-around-toy-stores-at-all-hours-snatching-up-anything-and-everything-in-sight-so-I-can-sell-them-for-a-200+%-markup-because-they're-gone-from-store-shelves-thanks-to-low-lifes-like-me-and-I-am-making-a-"living"-scalping-rare-toys; dontcha?
