I have a little confusion on Hulk characters, Who's Gray Hulk and Who's Mr. Fixit ? Are they the same guy or somethin ?

kinds sorta.......

when banner first turned into the hulk he was grey and not much bigger than a bodybuiler....basically a big grey man...he still had some intellegance

I think he became the classic green dumb hulk in one of his attempts to cure himself

then somewhere down the line he became grey hulk 2 or joe fixit....he traded alot of of strength for intellegance....and a mean streak....joe fixit was the muscle at a casino in las vegas

then there was the doc or smart hulk where doc sampson "merged" banner, greenie, and joe fixit into 1 personality....it was later revealed that the merged personality wasn't really a merger but another facet of his personality alltogether

hope that helps

Thanks! but there's another question that popped. Why Joe Fixit and Hulk are 2 separated beings ? or it is just me that have seen them separated ?

i was wondering whether james rhodes/warmachine has an armor right now? and what is his role in the crew?

NO armour as of right now. He seems to the main player, as he his more experinced. Though it realy is a scattered loose group book. I suggest picking it up, it's one of the the best marvel has out there and sadly it won't be around for much longer.

yea, i heard it was getting cancelled - thats too bad. i didnt really follow it but from what i've seen it looked pretty cool.

it is awsome, read it and if you like it send them mail. Joe Quasda told me to aggrivate everyone to mail marvel. With letters in hand the higher ups will let him keep the book on.

Can somebody explain who are :

Destroyer I, II and III and what are the connection between them? They are the Marvel Golden Age super heroes. The only thing I know is that Destroyer I is named Keen Marlow, that's all.

JOhnny

There is another Destroyer but he was a Herald of Galactus. So I guess he is Destroyer IV

eccentrik, since you know everything, do you know when punisher is going max? Or if its official that he is going max.

Marvel Knights Punisher ends in December.

MAX Punisher begins in January.

The MK series goes out with a bang as Spidey, Wolverine, and Daredevil team up to put an end to Frank's crusade, with an appearance by the Incredible Hulk. Expect Mr. Castle to come out on top, with the others being beaten and embarrassed. This will be the last of the darkly humorous stories.

The MAX series will be much more serious in tone, much like the BORN mini.

So long as it's Ennis doing the dark humour, it works. Whenever he gets bored and passes the title to somebody else and they try to emulate the flow he has is when it gets tedious.

Anyhow, does anyone remember the last "dark" and "serious" Punisher arc? I thought not.

I want Midgets crippling mobsters and Frank shooting Wolvie!

hey, uh, is Victor Creed dead, I read the one where it looked like Logan killed him, it was soo awesome @smilepunch@ but do we ever have confirmation?! #enlighten@

Sabretooth is quite alive in the Weapon X book, which is one of my favorite "fun" reads every month and is finishing up its "Underground" story arc which brought back a brand spanking new mutant Cable-led team, The Underground, of course. (Sabretooth is also quite soggy thanks to Marrow---if you read the book, you know what I mean.)

In the Ultimateverse, is the Team-up issue with Spidey and the Fantastic Four still in continuity or is it being erased due to the new book, or what?

I've been wondering about this for a while now...I just know that the other team-up books have remained in continuity and that the only retcon so far as been Eddie Brock, reporter to Eddie Brock, college student.

There've been other retcons/adjustments from team-up appearances, but none of them terribly significant. Fury looked rather white in his first Team-Up appearance, but then many thought he looked rather white in his first X-Men appearance as well. He certainly didn't start looking like Samuel L. Jackson until Ultimates.

Bendis has addressed this particular subject, though: FF team-up is NOT continuity. It's just too silly to work with the tone they'll be going for, and has to many inconsistencies with what's been shown in Ultimates and what's planned for Ultimate FF.

For instance, the traditional look (though differently located) Skrull of the Team-Up issue have been replaced by the Chitauri of the Ultimates, who, it's been revealed, are also known as the Skrull.

Also, the Ult. FF will be younger, high-school age (I'm guessing that Reed and Ben, and maybe Sue, will be around the same age as the older members of the X-Men, with Johnny being close to Peter Parker's age), not older, as depicted in the team-up.

The team-up ish is fun, and one of the better issues of that title, but consider it an imaginary tale/what if/elseworlds type of thing.

In Ultimate Six #1 Norman Osborne says (to Pym):

"These are an advanced model of the Richards' gene nullifier they used to correct the Hulk in Utah that time, correct?"

Is it just me, or is that one sentence gonna wreak some havoc with the plans for Ult FF? I mean, if Richards were already inventing stuff like that and had a well known name, and did participate in a manned shuttle mission, there's no way he'd get to take his friends up, too. And if he were famous (and a golden boy for SHIELD), he wouldn't need to steal the shuttle.

So, two options present themselves. Either the Richards in question is a relation of Reed, or the FF's origins will be altered in such a way that it's not a stolen shuttle and cosmic radiation which gives them their powers.

But, if they get their powers by doing anything to themselves, they get thrown in jail, courtesy of the Ultimates and SHIELD. What the hell?

In only 5 years, the Ultimate Universe is already facing stupid continuity issues. Way to go boys. Also, if they're launching this seriesso soon, why are they introducing Doom to Spider-Mans line? If anyone picks up #1 they'll already be missing out on history for a brand new team.

All conflicts will be resolved, if necessary. Those that aren't important will be ignored, just like the events of the Team-Up issue.

Keep in mind that Bendis and Millar, so far the only Ultimate writers (ignoring, because it doesn't connect with anything else, Austen's fill-in), are co-writing the book, so it's unlikely any major conflicts will develop. They're both aware of the Ult. U. policy on illegal mutations: they made it up themselves.

Keep in mind that a large stated goal of the Ult. U is not to worry about continuity. It has, from the start, been used as it is now in the rest of the Marvel books (keep in mind the Ultimate books predate the Quesada regime): where it's fun and useful, and doesn't detract from the story, use it. Where it stinks things up, ignore it.

so they are already changing the contunity of the new contunity?

C'mon guys, seriously you can't tell me this is a good story, it might be fun but c'mon this is rehash and it is now rehashing itself even!
