yeah i agree! probably much later! there are alot of other figures that they would need to go thru, assuming they go in som sort of an order.

How much would a loose Springer cost

You can probably get a MISB one for like $150 but I would think a loose one would go for $35-$40. Springer is cool, but I want Broadside, Blitzwing, and Sandstorm...

If Hasbro does Reissue the Tiplechangers, then Springer will probably be released. But getting one at a show or something is easier. I got Astrotrain and Sandstorm at Cybercon.

Yeah, if they did re-release the triple changers, I would be all up on Sandstorm, Blitzwing, THEN Springer.

I would avoid them all like the plague. :lol: Seriously I really do dislike most of the movie and post movie figures. And the triple changers really don't do anything for me. The only one that I'd consider is a white astrotrain.

There are a ton of Transformers I want to see reissued and Springer is definatly one of them. I never had him as a kid.

I hope there is a reissue of Springer, as well as Astrotrain and Blitzwing. I don't know if the molds still exist though. It's hard to tell with Takara and Hasbro.

There WAS a proposal back in the day for a Headmaster toy called Arcee, but never got past the conceptional art stage.

 

Before you curse Takara/Hasbro, that Arcee would have been just a repaint of Chromedome in pink and white. An artists rendition was found in "The Unofficial Guide to Japanese and International Transformers" by J. E. Alvarez

 

 

 

 

As for the Triple Changers getting re-issued, That will be pretty much up to whether or not Takara digs the mold up. Springer might have an edge on the others due to being a prominent movie and 3rd season character like Hot Rod. But who knows? Second-guessingTakara is easier said than done. But it's safe to say if Takara never re-issues them, I wouldnt count on Hasbro doing itr either
