Well, I'm 25. Been a Transfan for close to 20 years now. Really started collecting about 3 years ago. I picked up the bulk of my figures in 1 year (close to $10,000 worth). Now I just buy in bulk when I can. I see no reason why I won't be collecting into my toothless years.

I have been a big fan of Transformers since 1984. I collected a little of every series as the years went along. I bought huge chunk of my collection over the past 2 years. What bothers me though, is buying replacements for ones that I already have that are too worn out to WANT to display them. After all I brought my TFs to adventures unheard of.

I'm 16. I was introduced to Transformers through Generation 2, but I always loved the Generation 1 episodes, and I can remember sitting by the TV on Saturdays waiting for the old episodes to air. Now I'm glad that I can get the chance to buy all my old favorites on eBay, complete Devastator in a color that isn't hideously ORANGE, and collect all the reissues coming out from Takara. I'm a Transfan for life, I've stuck with it through Beast Wars, waited through BM, and anxiously awaited the arrival of RID and Armada. I just hope we see more G1 and some War Within figures before I hit old age.

at 25 i feel as if though this is my second chance at getting characters i missed out on. but with a lot of great stuff out there, i'm no longer limited to g1 (although priority is still there). if they stop making g1's i guess i'll hold off untill a series comes along that i like.

Gee, there seems to be alot of curious people on the boards.

I'm 18, going on 19. I was introduced to TFs in the last part of G1, saw the movie, didn't get an urge to collect til the Jap re-issues in 2000.

Being 21, my pockets are always empty from TFs. Some of you are fortunate to start collecting now being that you'll treat G1 toys a lot nicer than most of us did as kids. My old Landmine Pretender went through the worst punishment because of his playability he had. Being a Knight Rider fan, I tried making all my Stunicons do the Knight Rider "Turbo Mode". I went through 3 Bumblebee's simpy cuz his head broke off, and my Insecticons Bombshell and Kickback are almost chrome-less and they need their antennae back. Ah memories. 8)

im 27

was into tfs from 1984-1986

had a re-interest in tfs in 2000 after my dad died.

found out mom threw them out.

decided i wanted to re-collect the figures i 'had'.

unsuccessfull at getting original g1s for cheap except for a boxed sideswipe and a sealed camshaft for an ok price.

found out about 1st series of takara reissues, could only buy starscream. gave up.

jan 2003 found out about tru reissues and takara dw reissues, decided im gonna collect them all.

im not sure if ill stop collecting them. i decided im not going to buy any original g1s until after the reissues are done. but after that i still want ones that wont see any reissues like soundwave & devastator.

im 24 going on 25 this may 11, and i will be a diehard transfan till the day i die! i will probably be burried in a coffin with a autobot symbol on the top! and my headstone will read "till all are one". they have been a huge part of my life since i was younger! they helped me deal with many deaths and rough spots! they will continue to be an escape from this reality we call life!

I still remember getting my first two Transformers one fateful X-Mas...Ultra Magnus and Wreck-Gar. Since then the wheels have kept rollin' with no signs of stoppin' any time soon...even if they did take a hiatus for a while :)-

You and me both. Cept I turn 20 in May :P

25 years old - I have been collecting since 2001. I had to sell off a few since then, but my collection has remained largely stable. I have close to 40 reissues and now I am trying to get back the originals I had to sell off so I will always be collecting - at least the reissues anyway :)

Geez, Me and Noctorno are the old farts around here! :)- @-@ I'm 28, will be 29 in September, and have been collecting since G1 series one. When I turned 18, my parents pressured me to stop collecting, and being that I was in college and still living at home, I had no choice but to stop. I missed G1 S5 and beyond (G2, BW/M) but finally graduated from college and started collecting again. I have all RID/Armada, all TRU exclusives, all DW issues, and a majority of the Takara reissues that were released around 2000. I have no plans to stop anytime soon.
