We've already heard it will be the same line as armada. Kiddy.

That's what I theard, but I thought it was still speculation. I know that Hasbro said that it would appeal to "all ages" when I would rather have them say, "McFarlane Toys is teaming up with Takara for the ultimate in Transformer action figures".

I know it won't happen.

Koala rule! i think the next line will surprise everyone! i think it will have the design concepts of armada/rid with a styling of G1! it will hopefully be drawn in anime style (cowboy bebop). im not a huge fan of the current style! and the G! style, though retro, is very dated! and CGI is out of the question if we want an in depth story line with lots of characters! anime is the style to work with! its flashy and very accepting to robots and humans! we need to accept the fact that humans will be a staple in the TF universe! we just hope there written better in the future! as for the toys! im excited! RID and ARMADA toys are very well designed! we may not dig the colors, but there style and look is awsome! poseability wont be the issue with the new line, thay have sorta mastered poseability! its not perfect and it will be non exsistant in some figures! but we should be able to see a decent amount in the 2004 line! i just hope that they steer away from optimus as a truck theme! i wish they were a little more original with the designs of the leaders! make Prime a SUV or a Sports car, and make megs a JET or a Train! something new! not a truck or a tank/weapon! im hoping all the characters will be original with a FEW familiar names thrown in! we know that the minicon gimmick is here to stay! so repaints are inevitable! i hope they find new uses for them! plus we need more gestalts! minicon and other gestalts would be cool! design new constructicons with minicon gimmicks and pegs! hell, practically every OLDER TF can be reworked to accept minicons! so older figs repainted and incoeperated into the 2004 line is ok with me as long as they have minicon pegs! even beasts(i liked them). and we need more ULTRA size bots! remold fort max to use minicons! or make an entirely new mold of a city and call him fort max! and if we get fort max, we need scorponok! all in all i just hope they do a better job than armada! i love armada but i think they could do better! we are in a time where technology is almost limitless and figures can be designed and prototyped, then test marketed on a fan site to see fan reaction! then base that on production! its cheaper now! well thats it! you asked my opinion and i gave it! this is the longest post i have ever made! lol

Honestly I wish it will be a LOT less kiddy than Armada. Armada has this childish approach that catter to younger kids than anything else. Being that kids will be a little older next year, I think they should make it for the already newly established fans. Younger kids will jump on the bandwagon if their older brothers(or sisters  ) are watching it

(@) Armada YUCK!!! I wish they would go back to a G1 type style. But I'm sure that they will keep it kiddy. Bahhhhh!!! But hey we have to keep the yunger generation into Transformers so that it will keep up the intrest for G1.

G1 FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Transformers will be one of those toy lines that will be around forever in some form. For example G.I. JOE came out in the 1960's and it is still here today. Why because it was new the first true action figure series for boys. So the uniqueness of it is what made it special. In the late 1970's Star Wars came out changed the world, toys, and collecting forever. The same thing happend in the 1980's when we were kids when Transformers came out. Now robots turning into truck, planes, weapons, etc, no one thinks that much of it. But when Transformers and Gobots came out that was a whole new idea. It like G.I. JOE in the 60's and Star Wars in the 70's they were unique, special, and clever, it changed toys, collecting, and people's lives forever.

Fhewww!!! after all that I need to take a break. Thanks for listening to my sermon. :D

Everyone that complains about armada being kiddy and whatever the new series is being the same is forgeting who the toys are aimed at. adult transfans represent a very small purchasing demographic for TF toys. Anyone who wants classics can purchase reissues, hence the $30 price tag for a $9 toy. as far as the cartoon goes, if you stop looking at g1 through nostalgia colored glasses youll see that pre TFTM was just as kiddy. I mean do you HONESTLY remember your dad or high school age big brother watching TF with you?
