The first link is for Smeagol, which is slated to come out in the ROTK line, whereas Gollum, the second pic, is slated for April. Sort of cool, but at the same time it's a disappointment that the same bodies are being used. I wonder if Smeagol will say something, because Gollum (when you press a button on the rock) says "My Preciousssss!" :D

What are your thoughts?

I didn't realize that this site had the pics up, otherwise I wouldn't have used a link to eslewhere.

I'll change it pronto!

the body will be different on one of them.

Ooo, Ooo . . . could this be the rumoured articulated Gollum?

:o I hope this doesn't apply to you not saying anything, JayC.

Yeah it will be articulated.

Adrian at banned said it would be, he was there too.

Nice. Wish I could've been there . . . with a big, empty trenchcoat 8) . . . just think of Marge Simpson at the candy convention  . . . so many pockets, so many toys . . . I just hope that the articulation doesn't turn it into the breakable Gollum  .

Hmm well Toy Biz had asked us not to go into to many details about the ROTK stuff at this time but since it appears the cat is out of the bag on this one, yes it is an articulated figure. Looked very nice to. Not oversized at all. If you were extreamly rough with it, it might break but under normal handling it looked like it would hold up fine.

I don't know why they wanted you to keep it a secret. Maybe they think the bendy wouldn't sell if word got out that there was an articulated one? I personally can't wait for the first bendy, I've heard very good stuff about it. Durable and flexible.

I mean, releasing that it's articulated isn't releasing what Shelob is going to look like, right? We all basically knows what Gollum looks like by now, so as far as I'm concerned, no harm done.
